Are you like me and need a log or tracker to help you in everything you do? I have an incredibly hard time tracking what goats are due next and who is expected to kid when. Now that our dairy goat goals are expanding and we have a wider variety of breeds, I need to make sure I track genetics, pedigrees, registration records, etc to make sure we are working towards the homestead dairy goat goals we have planned and decided on. Keeping track of medical care is key, being able to hand this to the vet when I have an emergency or save on paper instead of have to try to remember off the top of my head is such an improvement. Historically I have tried to save them digitally but its so hard to remember where I kept them or recorded it. I love just having a classic binder by section that I can quick reference before heading out to the pasture, going to the vet or discussing when planning my to do list for the upcoming month or season.
